Custom Metal Deck Railing in North Idaho

Merrill Design builds custom ornamental iron deck railing in Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, and all of North Idaho. Hand-forged details, any color, built to fit your deck.

Deck railing built to last in North Idaho weather

Your deck is where you spend summer evenings, and the railing is the first thing people notice. Merrill Design builds custom metal deck railing for homes across North Idaho, from lakefront decks in Sandpoint to hillside homes in Coeur d'Alene.

Every railing is made to fit your deck and your home's architecture. Whether you want a clean, modern look or something more traditional with hand-forged scrolls, we build it to your design. Bring us your own idea and we will make it work.

Why choose metal for your deck railing

• Strength and safety. Steel railing stands up to heavy use, snow load, and years of North Idaho winters.

• Low maintenance. A quality paint or powder coat finish means no staining or sealing every year.

• Any color you like. Classic black, bronze, or a custom color to match your trim.

• Custom details. Hand-forged scrolls, hammered tubing, leaves, and other accents.

Areas we serve

We build and install deck railing throughout North Idaho, including Sandpoint, Ponderay, Priest River, Bonners Ferry, Laclede, Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, and Post Falls. Looking for something for the inside of your home too? See our custom stair railing work.
